My every wish & every dream somehow became reality

Myxuan left. Migrated to Canada.

Met Evelyn at Toa Payoh Central then MRT-ed down to the Airport.

Then sent Myxuan off at Terminal 1. Sabrina was the first one to cry,then Clara,then me & I think the next one's Shiyun? This is my first time sending my friend off at the airport,first friend migrating and not coming back anymore (maybe only for holidays). I will never send anyone off anymore. So Lauren,you cannot leave me or,seriously breakdown. Serious. So now Myxuan left,who can skip Physical Education lesson with me & camwhore in the toilet? Who will be going around the classroom and "You haven't pay money for the _____ book)" - 3N2 loan shark.

After all the emotional scenes,I went home to get some money & extra tank top. My maid lent me $10 and this is just a reminder to myself that I need to get the $10 from dad because I don't like to owe people money. Rushed down to Harbourfront centre - Sabrina,Monica & Sheila for Sakae Sushi (buffet) - $16.36 for each. Monica was so funny! She tried to squeeze in the leftover food between the plates.

So when there's this lady walking towards us,I alerted her and she stuffed the food into her mouth. That was so funny + drama + adorable! We were all laughing la (: Oh,and we played Open Numbers.

2nd round : Eat the vinegar

My first time trying both! Haha quite a good experience actually.

The Esprit top is finally mine now! I almost scream when I found my size because it's so hard to find size XS for the top. Yesterday,I went to Guardian to get the ingredients for cookie. I always bake cookie at my friend's house and last night was the first time baking it at home. Wanna make some cookie for family & Titus. Mum,maid,aunt said it's good but I think it's like,ew. so I threw the cookie away and decided to bake it next time.

Mum's really supportive - "I'll buy you a bigger & better oven"

I think newspapers are bad influences,most of the articles. Especially the one on H1N1. Because of that,my father - "Don't go anywhere. Stay in Singapore,it's safer. H1N1 everywhere now". I will try to persuade him again tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. If he still say no,then I hope he will book the 3D2N cruise trip or the 5D sounds good. I can give up all the trips just for the cruise trip. Because I love being out at the sea (ok not kayaking please)

I'm starting work tomorrow @ Paragon,basic salary $5/hr. Told mum & dad about it and they were like "woah good!". Surprised. Because few months ago,dad said "I give you money,don't go out work la". So I'm not a spoilt brat,people. Because I can earn money and I'm going to give 50% of my pay to mum,30% to dad and 20% to myself. It's not alot but it's always the thought that counts. Sounds cliche but it works,right? (:

Okay,one last thing,
I almost break my highscore for meepit juicebreak (neopets) last night and guess what! The game lagged. Not my computer but the game. Yes,depression.

Why Freedomofdoves? Ever heard of the song - "Paint My Love" by Michael Learns To Rock? Listen to the chorus and you might find out the answer from there. I am not a huge fan of doves but I just find that this uniform resource locator of my blog sounds really comely and it gives me a halcyon feeling. This is where I blog about the story of my life...



Every individual is different. I am a very hyper active person with effervescent personality and I am very sociable :) During my leisure time, I visit the museums or go cycling at the beach. My preferences for genres of music are easy listening, blues, classical and pop. I also search for beautiful pictures for inspirations. I only watch Hong Kong Dramas and news.

Under my parents consent, I have an english name - Athena, as many people do not know how to pronounce my name. I live in this famous little red dot, Singapore. People often mistaken me as a foreigner but I am a pure Singaporean :) My mother is an Indonesian and my father is a Singaporean. Not considering the fact that we are near to the equator, Singapore, this developed country is a wonderful place to live in. Be it traditional songs or NDP theme songs, they are still my favorites.

I attended PAP Kindergarden from 1998 - 2000, Braddell Primary School in 2001, First Toa Payoh Primary School from 2002-2006 and currently studying in Beatty Secondary School. I am a Normal Academic student and holding on to six subjects which are English, Elementary Mathematics, Chinese, Combined Science, Combined Humanities and Design and Technology. This year, I will be taking seven Normal level papers and one Ordinary level English paper.

My greatest wish in life is to travel around the world with my family or friends and be a happy person. I think that is how life should be :) My level of maturity depends on who I am with.

I am from the National Police Cadet Corps and held the post of Assistant Head of Administration and Secondary Two Squad Mentor. In 2008, I was chosen to participate in the NPCC Annual Parade in Home Team Academy. In 2009, I took part in the National Day Parade as a member of the NPCC contingent. In my own unit, I was in the Guard Of Honor Contingent in 2009 and 2010. After the National Day Parade, under NPCC, I went for the five days four nights Outward Bound Singapore Camp in Pulau Ubin. I also feel honored to be one of the 30 cadets who went for the seven days and six nights NPCC Overseas Educational Trip to Hong Kong and Macau from 17 November 2009 to 23 November 2009.
