"HELP! HELP!!"

"I've got you. I won't let go."

"Sssshh. Come here."
Jack
"Close your eyes."
She does, and he turns her to face forward, the way the ship is going. He presses her gently to the rail, standing right behind her. Then he takes her two hands and raises them until she is standing with her arms outstetched on each side. Rose is going along with him. When he lowers his hands, her arms stay up... like wings.
Jack
"Okay. Open them."
Rose
"I'm flying!"

(Jack singing softly)
Rose cleses her eyes, feeling herself floating weightless far above the
sea. She smiles dreamily, then leans back, gently pressing her back against
his chest. He pushes forward slightly against her.
Slowly he raises his hands, arms outstretched, and they meet hers..
fingertips gently touching. Then their fingers intertwine. Moving slowly,
their fingers caress through and around each other like the bodies of two
lovers.
Jack tips his face forward into her blowing hair, letting the scent of her
wash over him, until his cheek is agianst her ear.
Rose turns her head until her lips are near his. He wraps his arms
around her from behind, and they kiss like this with her head turned and
tilted back, surrendering to him, to the emotion, to the inevitable. They
kiss, slowly and tremulously, and then with building passion.
Jack and the ship seem to merge into one force of power and optimism,
lifting her, buoying her forward on a magical journey,soaring onward into a night without fear.

"Come with me, Jack. I jump, you jump... Right?"
Jack
"Right"

Rose
"I saw the iceberg, Mr. Andrews. And I see it in your eyes. Please tell me
the truth."
Andrews
"The ship will sink."
Rose "You're certain?"
Andrews
"Yes. In an hour or so... all this... will be at the bottom of the Atlantic."
Rose
"My God."

Cal
"Where are you going? To him? Is that it? To be a whore to that gutter rat?"
Rose
"I'd rather be his whore than your wife."

Rose
"Jack? Jaaacckk??"
Jack
"ROSE!! In here!"
Rose
"Jack, Jack, Jack... I'm sorry, I'm so sorry."

Even with Jack's arms wrapped around her, Rose is shivering in the cold.
Near her a woman with 2 young daughters looks into the eyes of a husband
she knows she may not see again
Husband
"Goodbye for a little while... only for a little while."
Husband
"Go with mummy."
The woman stumbles to the boat with the children, hiding her tears from
them. Beneath the false good cheer, the man is choked with emotion.
Husband
"Hold mummy's hand and be a good girl. That's right."

Rose
"I'm not going without you."

Jack
"Go on. I'll get the next one."
Rose
"No. Not without you!"
________
Hurls herself out of the boat to the rail of the A-Deck promenade, catching
it, and scrambling over the rail. The Boat 2 continues down. But Rose is
back on Titanic.
Jack
"Rose, Rose, you're so stupid, you're such an idiot--"
Rose
"You jump, I jump, right?"
Jack
"Right."

Jack
"Take a deep breath and hold it right before we go into the water. The ship
will suck us down. Kick for the surface and keep kicking. Don't let go of
my hand. We're gonna make it Rose. Trust me."
Rose
"I trust you."
________
Rose
"I love you Jack."
Jack
"No... don't say your good-byes, Rose. Don't you give up. Don't do it."
Rose
"I'm so cold."
Jack
"You're going to get out of this... you're going to go on and you're going
to make babies and watch them grow and you're going to die an old lady,
warm in your bed. Not here. Not this night. Do you understand me?"

Jack
"You must do me this honor... promise me you will survive... that you will
never give up... no matter what happens... no matter how hopeless...
promise me now, and never let go of that promise."
Rose
"I promise."
Jack
"Never let go."
Rose
"I promise. I will never let go, Jack. I'll never let go."

About Me
Koh Ching Na
Why Freedomofdoves? Ever heard of the song - "Paint My Love" by Michael Learns To Rock? Listen to the chorus and you might find out the answer from there. I am not a huge fan of doves but I just find that this uniform resource locator of my blog sounds really comely and it gives me a halcyon feeling. This is where I blog about the story of my life...
Every individual is different. I am a very hyper active person with effervescent personality and I am very sociable :) During my leisure time, I visit the museums or go cycling at the beach. My preferences for genres of music are easy listening, blues, classical and pop. I also search for beautiful pictures for inspirations. I only watch Hong Kong Dramas and news.
Under my parents consent, I have an english name - Athena, as many people do not know how to pronounce my name. I live in this famous little red dot, Singapore. People often mistaken me as a foreigner but I am a pure Singaporean :) My mother is an Indonesian and my father is a Singaporean. Not considering the fact that we are near to the equator, Singapore, this developed country is a wonderful place to live in. Be it traditional songs or NDP theme songs, they are still my favorites.
I attended PAP Kindergarden from 1998 - 2000, Braddell Primary School in 2001, First Toa Payoh Primary School from 2002-2006 and currently studying in Beatty Secondary School. I am a Normal Academic student and holding on to six subjects which are English, Elementary Mathematics, Chinese, Combined Science, Combined Humanities and Design and Technology. This year, I will be taking seven Normal level papers and one Ordinary level English paper.
My greatest wish in life is to travel around the world with my family or friends and be a happy person. I think that is how life should be :) My level of maturity depends on who I am with.
I am from the National Police Cadet Corps and held the post of Assistant Head of Administration and Secondary Two Squad Mentor. In 2008, I was chosen to participate in the NPCC Annual Parade in Home Team Academy. In 2009, I took part in the National Day Parade as a member of the NPCC contingent. In my own unit, I was in the Guard Of Honor Contingent in 2009 and 2010. After the National Day Parade, under NPCC, I went for the five days four nights Outward Bound Singapore Camp in Pulau Ubin. I also feel honored to be one of the 30 cadets who went for the seven days and six nights NPCC Overseas Educational Trip to Hong Kong and Macau from 17 November 2009 to 23 November 2009.
